While our fabrics come from various parts of India like Maheshwar, Jaipur, Surat and Karnataka to name a few, Taaka clothing is designed and produced entirely from our registered studio (an adorable bungalow with tons of greenery inside and outside) , which is based in Bangalore, India. We work with something called Sustainable sizing, where we have cut down on too many different sizes. Most of our clothes are designed to be worn slightly loose, like an anti fit.
Our drop shoulder patterns and anti fit waists make it very easy for a almost 10″ of difference to fit into the same size. Regardless, if you still have doubts, you can share your body specs with us at friends@taakaclothing.com and we’ll help you know your size.
Our sustainable conscious clothing is made to order at our Taaka studio and ships from Bangalore, India. Most of our time goes into the process of embroidery, it may go from 1 day to 4 days, hence shipping takes from 1 to 3 weeks depending on the product you choose, but we like to think it is worth the wait!
As soon as you place your order, we’ll send you an email on your tentative date of delivery.
Our clothing is handmade to order, so please choose carefully. However, we do understand that mistakes can be made when you order, and mistakes may occasionally slip past our vigorous quality control department.
If you do need to return an item, we’ve done our best to make this process as painless as possible. If you need to cancel your order please contact us immediately so we can see where we are in the shipping process, and we will do what we can to help you.

One of the things that makes handmade products so unique and sought after is the fact that they can vary quite a bit from item to item and from batch to batch.
While we work only with the best quality of yarns and materials, the humans behind the making of each product are unique, just like your order.
Minor irregularities in hand woven fabrics are only a reminder of the human hands that sat there and made the fabric, and should not be considered a defect. Our embroideries are made with a strict check on the quality and color, extremely slight variations may occur from the style of one artisan to another.
